The greatest invention in the late 20th century which gave birth to the wide range of technological outcome is the computer technology. Information Communication Technology is the essential part of todays world , they are used in most fields and sectors for various needs and purposes to make work easier and faster. Computers as gone beyond typing of documents, printing and calculations.
Ekanem Michael describes technology as the future and every persons should embrace it, he said technology as grown far beyond from the generation abacus , cathode and ray tubes to what we have today , micro chips , devices such as laptops, smartphones which can multi task and perform human functions .
On the one hand , most careers requires a degree , a person who intends studying Medicine ,Law , Banking and finance, Education needs to own a bachelor degree to prove their qualifications in these fields. On the other hand Tech jobs doesn’t require a formal education from the university , it is not limited to the four walls of the classroom . They are concerned with ones potentials , skills and the ability to contribute or render services to the customers.
Choosing a career can be Challenging but choosing to learn tech might be the best option for you because when you choose to learn tech you earn and learn . The tech industry as grown and flourished over passed decades , the industry as a high chance of job offer , the tech industry offer better wages more than any other field .
Careers in tech are often associated with high paying jobs because of the high demand for positions such as; Software Engineers , Ux designers , Digital Marketers , Cyber security workers, that many organization must have to pay dollars to fill theses roles with qualified and skillful individuals.
According to Bureau of Labour Statistics , the tech industry is to grow by as much as 13% between 2020 and 2030 faster than the average average growth of all occupations . In addition the median annual wage for information technology in 2020 is $91,250 in May 2020, is more than twice median yearly wage for all fields $41,950.The median salary in May 2021 is $ 97, 430 more than the average salary for all occupations $45,760.
However , a tech individual doesn’t necessarily have to get his job done during the working hours of 8:00 am – 5:00pm ,like other profession. You can be at your comfort zone or wherever you wish,what is expected of one is to work diligently and appropriately , working and learning.
You can be your unique self as a tech expert , unlike most industries Like the legal professions and the financial institutions were you have to dress corporate while in most tech Companies they can dress modest not necessarily corporate .What the companies are more concerned with is the ability to deliver.
In addition, tech promotes personal growths and develop opportunities , knowledge about tech continues and the ability to learn new skills and take up new challenges makes the work interesting because ones career in tech guarantees that learning will never end.
