Ojelabi gave the commendation while speaking with women leaders across the 57 LGAs and LCDAs, led by the Lagos APC Women Leader, Hon. Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, at the party Secretariat, Acme road, Ogba.
He said that women were part of the reasons the party had remained effective, strong, united unbeatable in the state.
Reminding the women that there will be party congress on Monday, across the state, Ojelabi urged them to mobilise and seek more support for the party in their various locations.
The APC chairman explained that there was no factional APC in Lagos State, as such, the women should be free to canvass for the party without any fear.
He, however, urged them to be focused and peaceful, while maintaining decorum during the ward congresses.
Ojelabi noted that PVC registration and revalidation was still ongoing and appealed to the women to take advantage of the last phase of the registration to mobilise more people to register and get voter’s card.
The APC chieftain commended the Lagos State women leader, Hon. Jumoke Okoya – Thomas, for her dedication to the task of coordinating other women.
“The reward for good work is more work. I urge you to translate all your good strategies into more success stories for the party at the forthcoming elections,” Ojelabi said.
