An additional case of COVID-19 in the state has been announced by the Nasarawa State Government.
The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, told journalists on Tuesday while briefing them on COVID-19 updates in the state.
In his Explanation, he said that an added new case is that of a driver of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, who transported samples of suspected persons believed to have been infected with Corona Virus in Nasarawa State.
In his words, Sule said “The affected driver who lives in Ado village of Karu Local Government Area of the state has been relocated to COVID-19 Isolation Centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi for treatment,”.
The state government has so far confirmed about 12 cases of COVID-19 with one death, according to reports.
